OVERVIEW

Through his life and work, the Dalai Lama has called us all to work in our own way to make our lives meaningful and useful to others.  

This call to action, expressed in his message to the Foundation is inspiring to many of us.  But how to go about it? 

The Dalai Lama suggests an integrated approach in which we respond to immediate need through direct action and at the same time work in a leveraged way through education to address the root causes of violence. 

In keeping with this guidance, we provide support for action-oriented initiatives while pursuing our main program focus on education for ethics and peace.
