PEACE-DOT DATABASES — HOW TO...

Give your peace-dot page instant access to peace databases

You can give your online visitors instant access to databases containing information about peace, conflict resolution and ethics.

Embed an online database search in your page

CR Info - the Conflict Resolution Information Source provides access to thousands of online resources in 600 topic areas. Now in its sixth revision, this University of Colorado project provides online services and tools you can use to create a My CRInfo search box on your own website.

Moderately spicy—

You might consider embedding the search in a sidebar on your blog. CRInfo provides code that you can drop into the sidebar to add a search <FORM> like this one.

Search CRInfo

In:

Go ahead and View Source on this page to see how we customized the My CRInfo form to adapt it to our look-and-feel.

The Dalai Lama Foundation Peace and Ethics knowledgebase can be repurposed on your web site to provide the top hits from a knowledgebase that is maintained by our organization.

Moderately spicy—

You could embed a knowledgebase search in an <IFRAME> or on a page.

Example: A knowledgebase search on “Peace Studies” embedded in a web page.

To set up a free-form search, you can create a search form like this one.

Search the peace and ethics knowledgebase
