Magical Moments Around the World-
One human spirit connecting us all

Magical Moments

Magical Moments Around the World is a global educational project dedicated to inspiring global coexistence, compassion, mutual care, understanding and a reverence of life, by fostering awareness that we are all connected by one human spirit. Magical Moments provides a platform for youth and educators to create a global collaborative online book to live for generations to come while sharing their own magical moments and realizing the interconnection of human spirit.

Gal Kleinman, founder of Magical Moments Around the World, envisions a world that is guided by compassion and respect, and transcends borders of any kind. Gal feels that by reading other people’s magical moments we become aware that our happiness is connected to other peopleís happiness.

A magical moment is a special and unforgettable event that you experienced in your life. It could be simple or heroic, but what matters is that special feeling you experienced. By telling about your magical moment you rekindle an instance in your life, touching a special spirit deep within you. People who listen are also touched, inspired, given hope and therapy.

To date youth from 14 countries have joined together and shared their magical moments publishing them online. Experiencing firsthand how their own personal magical moment is part of a human web that transcends borders, continents, race, religion and promoting values such as compassion and tolerance.

Join in and lay the foundation today you could be part of a global interconnected organization dedicated to inspiring individuals.

To find out how you can work with the organization email Gal directly or visit the website for more information.

Periodically the Dalai Lama Foundation features an organization whose peaceful mission is aligned with ours. Have a suggestion for a future organization that you would like to see featured? Please let us know.

Light the Night for Peace and Friendship

On September 11th, 2009, The American Muslim Voice Foundation (AMV) along with multifaith groups and community organizations will host a candle light vigil "Light the Night for Peace and Friendship" to honor 9/11 victims and their families by sowing the seeds of peace and friendship. Taking place at Lafayette Park, in Washington DC, USA, the Foundation hopes to spread the Miracle Movement of Peace and Friendship throughout the world.

American Muslim Voice Foundation

AMV is dedicated to walking on the path of peace that Martin Luther King Jr. paved towards building an inclusive community. Their approach to community-building is a simple one, hosting open houses, peace conventions and peace picnics annually to unite neighbors and strangers alike with the fulfilled promise of food and social engagement.

Light the Night

Based in Newark, California and founded in 2003 by American Muslims the Foundation’s mission is to foster friendships among all Americans by bridging cultural and religious gaps through a grassroots, nonviolent and inclusive organization. With the goal of uniting all under the umbrella of our common humanity, celebrating diversity and value of all human beings regardless of race, religion or creed.
