Flow ~ A Concert for Peace We regret to announce that the Flow concert, scheduled to coincide with the Dalai Lama’s visit to the Bay Area next month, has been postponed for the time being. Our dear friend Nawang Khechog sustained a serious automobile accident, and is recovering at his home in Delhi. Our thoughts and prayers are with him. We look forward to rescheduling this "East meets West" collaboration featuring Nawang Khechog and Sanford Biggers for a future date. |

The XIV Dalai Lama Endowed Scholarship Following the Dalai Lama’s visit to UC Irvine in April of 2004, a group of private citizens created The XIV Dalai Lama Endowed Scholarship to encourage future generations of students to follow the ideals he shared during his visit.
UCI Juniors Rajiv Ramdeo and Aswathi Sreedharan, recipients of the inaugural scholarship 2006, are pictured here with the Dalai Lama. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2007 Scholarship. |
